When Tribe was founded, we decided from the outset that we would, where we can, give back.
Finding opportunities to support our Communities and relevant Charities has always been important to us, and we are proud that Tribe has a reputation for being a caring and benevolent company.
Tribe supports West Wickham FC, Trinity RFC and both the Worshipful Company of Insurers and the Company of Entrepreneurs, which exist for City of London tradition and charitable causes.
But the annual Tribe Charity Golf Day has become a real fixture and standout event for our friends and colleagues from across the insurance market.
To date, we have now raised over £52,000 for various charities and we plan to keep raising.
The Tribe Charity Golf Day was born…
For the past seven years, Tribe has hosted its annual Charity Golf Day, bringing together friends, family and colleagues from across the insurance market to raise money for causes we care deeply about.
Our 2025 Charity Golf Day was another standout year. Together, we raised £12,172 for The Worshipful Company of Entrepreneurs Trust, supporting fledgling businesses with the backing they need to grow and thrive. To date, our Charity Golf Days have now raised over £52,000.
From early morning tee-offs to a lively evening auction, the day was filled with generosity, good humour and strong support from across the market. We were delighted to welcome so many familiar faces alongside new supporters, all contributing to a fantastic atmosphere on and off the course.
The day was made possible thanks to the generous support of our headline sponsor Qover, alongside Keoghs, Chubb, The Finance Hub, Global Risk Solutions, Sompo, Kroll, Premium Credit, RSA, Tacit Investment Management, T&R Direct Insurance and WTW. Thank you also to everyone who donated prizes, bid in the auction or joined us on the day.
Reflecting on the event, Tribe co-founders Patrick Smith and Nick Stretton shared:
““Giving back is incredibly important to us, and supporting fledgling businesses to allow them to thrive is something we are proud to be part of.””
““A huge thank you to all our supporters who made it, once again, a bumper year for Tribe’s chosen charity.””
Our ambition remains the same each year. To create a Charity Golf Day that feels genuinely special, supports worthy causes and brings people together in a way that is enjoyable, memorable and meaningful.
Here’s to building on this success in the years ahead.

Our Support for Trinity RFC
Sport has always been important to Patrick and Nick, as players and supporters. At Tribe, supporting grass roots sport is a vital component of our ESG efforts and our charitable approach. We believe that the clients that we work with value a partner who has charitable intent.
Trinity RFC (formerly the Old Mid Whitgiftian RFC, otherwise known as the Midwives) are the old boys of Trinity School in Croydon. Tribe’s Co-Founder Patrick went to school at Trinity, his Father taught there and Co-Founder Nick’s son, James, attended also. Patrick played for the Rugby Club for many successful years, as the 1st XV scrum-half.
As a keen supporter of community amateur sport, Tribe has been sponsoring Trinity RFC for 4 seasons, so far, and are committed to continue. By providing finances as their Primary Supporter, attending former players lunches and supporting the man of the match winners, Tribe is nicely embedded in the Club's activities.
Our financial support is invaluable and provides guaranteed income to the club and amongst other things, the money is used to provide player’s kit and equipment, hence our name appearing proudly on the shirts of the 1st XV.
